On Wednesday, December 14, 2016, the ceremony marking the academic year 2016-2017 of CIESPAC which saw the opening of the Master in Public Health. This ceremony, under the tutelage of the Minister of Higher Education of the Congo, was attended by more than a hundred guests including:

Ambassadors or their representatives, the Representative of the WHO in Congo, the Members of the Governing Council of OCEAC, the CEMAC and OCEAC executives, the administrative, political and local authorities, teachers and students. The ceremony was punctuated by speeches by the Director of CIESPAC of the Executive Secretary of OCEAC, the Representative of WHO in Congo and the representative of the President of the CEMAC Commission. An inaugural lesson was presented by Professor Ngombe Mbalawa. The Minister of Higher Education of the Congo sponsor of the ceremony has in his speeches, declared open the Master in Public Health of CIESPAC. The ceremony continued with a family photo. A cocktail offered by the OCEAC, put an end to the ceremony
