From 26 to 27 May 2016, the meeting of the members of the Ethics Committee for Research and Health in Central Africa (CERSAC) was held. This meeting was attended by all its members and aimed at strengthening the sub-regional exchange and communication platform of the Ethics Committee for Research and Health in Central Africa (CERSAC) with OCEAC and WHO.

From 23 to 26 May 2016, CIESPAC hosted a capacity-building workshop for young investigators in Central Africa in ethics and bioethics. The workshop was jointly funded by WHO / TDR and OCEAC. This workshop enabled the training of 16 young investigators from Cameroon, DRC, Congo, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, CAR and Chad.
